Muse of the Moment: Miss Geist
The film may have come out 15 years ago, but this Clueless teacher is having a fashionable moment.

“Something told me not to discount Miss Geist. Well sure, she has runs in her stockings, and her slip is always showing, and she always has more lipstick on her teeth than her mouth.” Today, Cher’s sartorial portrait of her spinster history teacher in Clueless sounds more Taylor Momson than school marm.
And although we’ll always appreciate Cher’s admirable devotion to fashion and forward sense of style (velvet, thigh highs), we beg to differ when she deems Miss Geist’s style a fail. Score high marks this summer with breezy '90s florals, matte lipstick, a careless topknot, and boxy blazers.
