Neutrals

Camel is the go-to neutral this season, popping up on nearly every runway during Fashion Week. Keep your look simple and chic by finishing neutral ensembles with glossy nails in one of Chanel's khakis ("Khaki Brun" and "Khaki Vert" pictured). If you prefer gray, last year's neutral superstar, feel free to brush it on again, since it'll hold its own with fall's military boots and outerwear (we like Perfect Formula's "Cubist," above, center).
Jewel Tones & Shimmer

If you're looking for a little fire, adorn your nails with jewel tones and shimmers. These bold, take-no-prisoners purples, pinks, and reds (see Essie's "Limited Addiction," middle, and Hard Candy's "Beetle," right) are a bright spot in fall fashion's otherwise mild and creamy palette. Count on sparkly shades (like Hard Candy's "Fabuluxe," far left) to instantly glam-up even your boxiest peacoat.
Icy Blues

This delicate hue might seem out of place during autumn, since pastels are usually reserved for spring, but this surprisingly versatile color is perfect for cooling fall weather. Both Chanel and Dior used chilly ice blues in their fall collections to give a modern, feminine edge to military-inspired looks (see for yourself with Hard Candy's tried-and-true "Sky").
