Jill Russell loves Truche's United States of Love Collection

If there's one wardrobe rule I live by, it's this: A girl can never have too many necklaces. My strict one-in, one-out policy for clothes (I have an extreme aversion to amassing stuff) doesn't extend to jewelry. I collect necklaces, rings, and bracelets. You could even say I hoard them. They don't take up much space and instantly add a personal stamp to any outfit.

That's why I love Truche's United States of Love Collection. The thoughtful pendants, crafted from fine silver, put a new spin on hometown pride. The best part? You can order a customized version in the shape of any state, with a tiny heart-shaped hole punched through the city closest to your heart.

The pieces give a nod to Milton Glaser's classic I Heart NY emblem and they're much more affordable than Patricia Field's customizable "Carrie" necklaces—not to mention cooler. Plus, each comes on a delicate sterling silver chain.

I can't wait to get my hands on my own Detroit-centric version. It'll live happily among my dozens of other neckwear options, which will have to wait patiently. This one's going into heavy rotation.
