Lauren Johnson loves a mean Gin Fizz

Nothing can knock me on my ass quite as hard as a good gin fizz. Also called a sloe gin fizz, this drink is pure mayhem masked as a slightly bitter version of Fresca. 


3 ounces gin 
1 tablespoon superfine sugar 
2 tablespoons lemon juice 
1 tablespoon lime juice 
3 or 4 ice cubes 
Club soda 

Combine all ingredients except the soda in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a highball glass and fill with soda. (Recipe courtesy of Epicurious.com)
