Sarah Bowman loves Art School Dropout

I’ve got a thing for octopuses. Maybe it’s because I recently devoted two hours of my life to watching a PBS special on the deep-sea creatures; or it could be that having eight legs would be pretty neat. Despite my reasoning, octopuses are undeniably cool.

Mixing my new found love for eight-limbed swimmers with my continued devotion to necklaces is the Art School Dropout. Founder of the operation and maker of fun stuff, Jesse Maloney, extends her craft game beyond jewelry to bags, hairpins, and even doll necklaces. While all of her creations are somewhere on my list of must-haves, the octopus necklaces take top billing. They come in all shades of bright colors and can be adorned with flowery decorations. Why I don’t have one yet beats me, but soon, one of those cute creatures will be mine!
