My graduation is Friday (I know it’s late, but this is one of the many “gifts” of the quarter system). I am trying my best to organize events for family and look for a job that combines all of my interests and satisfies my desire to save the world. Enter idealist.org. While it hasn’t done anything to help me get my parents to and from the airport or move my things before the sublettor arrives, it has helped me find some pretty cool jobs I can apply to as soon as the chaos subsides. I’ve spent the majority of my time filtering through the 11,892 nonprofit jobs listed on the site using keywords, ideal locations, and education level needed. However, you can find places to volunteer, events, speakers, and information about various campaigns. So check it out and email a few postings to yourself, just remember to check your inbox and actually apply.
