Searching through Web sites and magazines like my life depends on it (because often my sanity does), I am constantly on a mission to find new music. My recent discovery is jazzy creative genius Tiombe Lockhart.

In a world where R&B seems to lose a bit of soul daily, Lockhart comes to the rescue. Straying from the typical format of snaps and catchy yet empty hooks, Lockhart captures a traditional soul and futuristic funk cultivating a sound of her own.

So if you are ready for something above and beyond mundane radio rotation, check out the Queen of Doom (self-released EP) and prepare for a fantastic Voyage.
