Denise Gibson loves the Ski Train

It’s not always a pleasant trip over the river and through the woods to the ski slopes outside of Denver. That’s why I love the Ski Train. It saves me from having to drive through falling snow that’s so awesome for skiing but so treacherous for driving. I just board at Union Station in downtown Denver, and two hours later I hop off at Winter Park, literally at the base of the slopes. The ride back is the best — I can enjoy aprés ski in the dining car without worrying about how I’ll stumble home.
